Narrow-band pyrometers UPF IV serve for non-contact temperature scanning of molten and solid masses in metallurgy, forges, glassworks, coking plants, fireclay factories, hardening shops, wire works, chemical plants, engineering factories, and scientific laboratories. The temperature values can be processed by a programmable logic controller or a digital controller.
Narrow-band radiation pyrometer UPF IV-G with built-in galvanic isolation is a modernised model UPF-IV pyrometer. For more complex applications, the older versions required the installation of a galvanic isolator on the power supply. With the new model, this solution is built-in to the pyrometer body.
